These official government issued stamps commemorate the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Kate, now referred to as the Duchess of Cambridge, was born on January 9, 1982 in St Andrews Bradfield, Berkshire. Growing up as the oldest of three children in Bucklebury, she worked as a photographer for her parent’s empire called Party Pieces.

Prince William was born on June 21, 1982 at the St Mary’s hospital in London. He is the eldest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. After first meeting in college, the two became engaged in October 2010 while on a vacation in Kenya. The wedding which millions worldwide tuned in to watch took place on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
