1. What is Personalised Stamp?
Personalised Stamp is a unique service, allowing stamps to be personalised by printing customer’s photographs on the tab of the stamps. It gives a personal touch by printing a photograph, insignia or slogan on the tab of the stamp. This service is now available to the public.
2. What is Personalised Stamps ideal for?
Whatever the occasion, it may be Personal or for
Organizations. Personalised stamp would be an ideal medium. Even commemorative event and gifts can be given a personal touch.
Personal Surprise your loved ones with a postage stamp the next time you want to post a mail. Subject to features may include:
Birthdays Weddings Family Gifts etc…
Organizations It's a new way to market and promote your products and services at the cost of postage. Where phone calls, TV or radio commercials can not reach, a stamp can go places. Subjects to features may include:
Product Brands Commemorations Promotions
Slogans Public Awareness Job Titles etc...
3. How do I choose my photos? Or how do I produce my digital image for the processing of my personalised stamps?
It is important to choose a quality photograph. For best results, use a tri-pod or engage a steady photographer to take your pictures. Use the tips below to assist you choose your photographs.
- Capture the whole body from the head down to the feet.
- Or capture only the upper part of the body (from head to
shoulder) only.
- Select a photograph that is sharp and free of default.
- For best results, choose a 100mm x 150mm (4”x6”) vertical photo. A clear, sharp close-up short is best.
- Standard photo size similar to the size described above can be sent for scanning at the Philatelic Bureau.
4. How long will it take to receive my personalised stamps?
Port Moresby residents can have their photos taken at the Boroko Post Office. Orders will take 2 – 10 days to process. Customers outside Port Moresby can contact their nearest Post Office (Post PNG Ltd).

6. Can I have more than one image in my Order?
Yes you can have more than one image on the sheets/sheet that you want to order. However, pricing varies as explained below or see pricing page.
- A customer orders 1 x 85t Personalised Stamp Sheet using 1 image will cost:
K17.00 plus K5.00 (K4 per image x 1 images + K1.00 for printing) = K22.00
- A customer orders 1 sheet of 85t Stamp with 4 different images on the same sheet will cost:
K17.00 plus K17.00 (K4 per image x 4 images + K1.00 for printing) = K34.00
7. Which method
of payment does Post PNG accepts?
Holders of Master Card, Visa and American Express Cards anywhere in the world can now make remittance direct to Papua New Guinea. Domestic customers can make direct payments as per discussed in the
Pricing Guide.
If a customer sends a foreign personal cheque to PNG – PNG Banks charge a fee of K75.00 which is equivalent to approximately Australian $35.00, New Zealand $40.00, UK Stg 15.00, US $30.00 and Euro 21.00. No fee is charged for cash bank note.
Credit Card Transaction Fees Credit card transaction fee is charged as shown below.
- K1 to K10.99 – K2.00
- K11 to K50.99 – K3.00
- K51.00 to K999.99 – K5.00
K1000 and over, fee of 4.75% of the total value will be charged
