Spathoglottis Papuana (Stamp)
A stunning brilliant pink ground orchid. It grows in the
grassland areas of the lowland areas of Papua New guinea. The
flowers are quite large, with the cluster of flowers opening over a
period of time. The orchid has big broad green leaves that come from
the base of the bulb.
Dendrobium Coeloglossum (Foreground)
This orchid has large lemon coloured flowers that appear from the
side of the bulbs. The flowers usually occur in pairs and last for
one day only. The plant grows on trees in the tropical regions of
Papua New Guinea and is pendulous in habit. |
